Here's the situation,
My old router [TP-Link C1200 V1] was having constant rebooting and disconnecting from the internet issue. The condition worsen to the point where the connection would stay up at most for only 1 hour.
So I went and got a new router [TP-Link AC1200 Archer C6]
It's working fine and dandy with no disconnection whatsoever...
HOWEVER, the ethernet speed is slower now on my desktop than the previous router.
C1200: 550Mbps download, 40Mbps upload
AC1200: 80Mbps download, 95Mbps upload
Both of the routers - to my knowledge - have Gigabit port, and my desktop still has the same set of hardware.
- I have tried netsh winsock reset on CMD
- I have run the speedtest on another laptop
The AC1200 still provides more or less slower speed through ethernet.
SO, my question is whether the AC1200 is the problem?
