Ethernet through PC with ethernet

Hello I have a nexus 5x with usb type c. I wanted to use Ethernet on it but my Ethernet is connected to my pc. Is there some type of slot extension I can use of is there nothing I can do?

you can pick up a cheap wifi router and connect your pc and phone through wifi.
