Ethernet Wont Work

Hello guys
my ethernet wont work after windows 7 install
i also noticed the * realtek pci gbe family controller * is gone from my device manager
&
RAS ASYNC ADAPTER is hidden (with code 45)
i tried everything
1.resetomg cmos
2.removing ram for sometime
3.checking if on board lan is enabled in bios (which it is)
4.installed lan drivers for my mobo nd realtek ( got an error like realtek controller noy found,if deep sleep mode is enabled please plug the cable)
5.troubleshooted my network and got this message : windows did not detect a network adapter driver)
6.checked if my nic is working : typed ping 127.0.0.1 in cmd and got reply...
so i think its working?
7.i also checked sys info and in it the network info were pretty messed up..
no adapter info is given..only said 'not available'
8. I dont know the manufacture of my nic..so i dont know which site to search my drivers
i am so tired.. without any help i think i am stuck

ram:4 gb
Vdo card: amd radeon 5750
motherboard: intel dg41wv
I lost my utility cd 🙁
i am stuck please help me

If there is not a Network Interface Adapter that you can discern under Device Manager then the NIC is GONE, as in bad, not there, and unless it shows up, there is no software trick that will fix it.

The only thing I can think of is, somehow you have disabled it under BIOS but if you reset CMOS, that should had fix it so I am pessimistic.

However not all is lost, a PCIe NIC can be purchased cheap, so that's the next thing I would do. An Intel-based NIC is best but it budget doesn't allow, ANY should do.

I guess so..
bt i opened my computer an saw installing driver
I was soo happy...
Bcz the last time this problem happened it fixed itself like this
bt now driver installation failed.. and in device manager an unknown device popped up with an error code 28 (the driver for this device aint installed)
i got a feeling its the realtek pci controller. .
i tried to look for a hardware id or stuff like that..
i found nothing bt a device description saying its of net...
what should i do?
anyway around without buying? I need internet urgent...

An Intel mono with a built-in realtek NIC? doesn't sound right.

Nah bro.. i am pretty sure its realtek pci gbe family controller. ..
nd mobo is also intel 41
anyway i cant bet on realtek..anyway to find out the nic manufacture?
and about that unknown device? 🙁

Realtek controller was not found...
if deep sleep mode is enabled please plug the cable
i think i am stumped
