'Eve: Valkyrie' Alpha Opening To More Players On Monday

CCP has been alpha testing the online multiplayer mode of its Oculus Rift launch title, "EVE: Valkyrie." On Monday, the company will release the game to a new group of early testers. If your PC is up for it, you’ll likely be invited.

Ok, this looks really awesome. I was skeptical about VR, but I might get an Oculus for this game alone. Then again, if ever it actually gets to market.

Right now, it's just vaporware. Live long enough, and you know no matter what the hype is, it's not real until it's real.

they have not really revealed a lot about the game so far. I have seen about 3-4 trailers for it and all I know is you dogfight in the eve universe in a few different ship classes. Expect it to be a small extension to a VR tech demo. Lets hope I am wrong.

The Oculus Rift is not vaporware.
The company is taking orders and hardware will be shipping in late March.
Every pre-order comes with Eve: Valkyrie, which I've played and can tell you it's most certainly not vaporware.

I'm not sure what more you need.
This is like a classic deathmatch shooter in space. Think Unreal Tournament in spaceships.

It doesn't need to be a super deep game. It's all about the fun.
