Event ID 41 after clean shutdown

Hi.

I´ve been having a problem for a month or so in which I randomly get an event 41 (The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.)

This is after a normal shut down each time. Also, it does not show up every time I shut down and start up again. It seems to be random. I have not done anything different with my PC as far as I know except install some windows updates.

Does anyone have some idea as to what´s going on? Much appreciated.

Hi Robert,

Sorry for the late reply.
Yeah, everything is fine. It just seems weird to me that this has been happening for so long. I´ll keep an eye on this thread just in case, I couldn´t find much of use on Google.

I´m still having issues with this, and it´s getting worse.

Lately every time I shut down (properly) and start up again, I get a blue screen, then it reboots. I usually choose to start normally, and I get the same notification as always, event ID 41 Kernel Power. Still no idea what´s going on.

It doesn´t seem right to me to be getting a blue screen every single day. Anyone know what the problem could possibly be?
