The dambdest thing. I am trying to use three computers with a KVM and they work for a while, until I turn them off. My PIII 667 with a 810E-1 Finlay Seanix motherboard compleatly screws up the KVM and refuses to let it work after the first time. I have noticed that my optical mouse is still burning brightly after I have turned off all of my computers, so I think that the MB is still on. I tried to turn it off by using the power supply switch, but that really didn't help. What's really weird is when I turn off the computer the windows way, my power and HDD light would be blinking after shutdown. Is this my KVM switch or the MB or both or ? any ideas? KVM switch is a 4 port Slim KVM switch by Phoebe Micro.

Blinking normally means the system has gone into standby, rather than shutting down. The mouse light staying on when the power is off is normally caused by BIOS being set to power up from mouse movement.
