Question Ever since i got 32gb RAM my games keep lagging however GeForce experience says it should be running fine

I have 32gb RAM, intel i5 gen 11, NVIDIA RTX 4050 Ti.

I recently got an upgrade around a year ago and got 32 gb ram instead of having a 16 gb ram but from what ive experienced it seems to be lagging more. I play games like elden ring which ran better before.

any reasons for why its lagging?

is it just old?
pls help

eventually the new ram is slower or timings are longer
is the xmp profile set in bios?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

Disk drives: make, model, capacity, how full?

Use Task Manager and Resource Monitor to observe system performance. Use both tools but only one tool at a time.

Objective being to determine what happens or changes when the games lag.
