Every few minutes I lose focus of my application, such as when I am playing games, suddenly it switches to the desktop and I have to open it from taskbar again. In some games I just lose focus for a few seconds, and in browsers, I lose focus and have to click the browser again. I really want to find out what is causing this, maybe a process? If so, how do you track it?
Thanks guys!

I had the same problem and it was horrible... after long research I found these steps and it helped (until now): As a temporarily solution you can turn off error reporting service: press Win+R, type services.msc than find Windows Error Reporting service in the services list, right-click on it -> click Properties -> open "Startup type" list and select "Disabled" -> press OK.

i just found a solution!

download this app: "Process Hacker", once it's installed and opened do the following:

go to Help ====> Log
or simply press Ctrl+L

keep it running in the background and go to your normal work, when the lose focus thing happens get back to the log immediately and check what's causing it!
for me i found out it was "bluestacks" the android emulator app for pc, i unistalled it and everything was back to normal
gosh! i was this close of doing a format to my pc and over what?! some stupid tiny issue like this!

From doing this I see that

these three processes keep terminating and created
12:51:59 AM 1/24/2016: Process created: mcautoreg.exe (7544) started by McSvHost.exe (4168)
12:51:59 AM 1/24/2016: Process created: McUICnt.exe (3896) started by mcautoreg.exe (7544)
12:52:03 AM 1/24/2016: Process created: mchost.exe (10932) started by McSvHost.exe (4168)
12:52:07 AM 1/24/2016: Process terminated: mcautoreg.exe (7544)
12:52:07 AM 1/24/2016: Process terminated: McUICnt.exe (3896)

I had this problem twice with my Dell laptop. One time was when it was brand new and still under warranty. The tech folks tried and tried but couldn't fix it - wasn't the trackpad, etc etc. Finally I reinstalled Windows and this fixed it! It occurred again to me just the last week and I couldn't recall what I'd done to fix it last time. I tried many of the things suggested on this site and others where folks have posted similar issues. I worked for dozens of hours, but nothing worked. Until I finally remembered that reinstalling Windows had worked last time. That was the answer again! This is my suggestion to anyone else who is finding their computer is losing focus as they work. With me, I lost focus while I was on the internet and also while typing in word processing or spreadsheet programs. This is my fix!

i had a problem similar to this and was going mental. then someone suggested that i look at the task manager and look at the processes window. i saw that i had gCloud running i didn't know what it was as i didn't use it at all . i have learned that this is some software that Gigabyte have on some of their motherboards. when i disabled the process it stopped loosing focus for no reaso. hope this helps anyone.
