please guys help me, for about 3 4 days every game that i play it freezes in game. I open a game, find a match, play 5-10min and boom the screen freezes but i can still hear the audio.
maybe a steam problem??

things that i tried:
clear temp, doing sfc scan, used ccleaner, did a pc restart scan, reinstall the games, checking the game files, cleared pc hard disk and ssd, disabled oc,update driver

cpu:i3 8100 3.6GHz
ram:8gb ballistix
gpu:gtx960 4gb
psu:550w corsair
ssd kingstone 500gb
hard disk 1tb

Solution
That's likely not even related to what you've tried. Sounds distinctly like a gpu overheating. I'd suggest 2 things, first being clean the dust out of the gpu heatsink, second is turn your detail levels a little lower on some unnecessary items like viewing distance, grass detail, lighting etc as they are very hard on a gpu for not much return.

Steam is probably under alot of stress with all the shut in people - . try at off peak times - 3am or something.

Fps is from the cpu. It sets the maximum attainable. The gpu either lives upto what it gets, or fails. Lowering some detail levels of certain settings won't change the game visually, but will go a long way to actually increasing visual fps towards the limit set by the cpu.

Or get a stronger gpu. The 960 was pretty weak when new, and if you need all of the exact settings for the gpu, and it's overheating, it's not strong enough.

Doesn't mean you have to globally change from high/ultra on everything, just a few things. Nobody is going to care about the shadows on the zit of the guy you are shooting at, they just wanna see him dead.

But since this is a recent issue, cleaning the gpu would be a start, as would updating the motherboard chipset drivers from the motherboard website. Not the gpu drivers from Nvidia.

u were right, i set the gpu fans at 100% and now it runs fine, thanks a lot!!

That's a band-aid solution. A temporary fix, you shouldn't need to keep manually setting fan speeds to max. Solve the problem of why you need to do that and you'll have a more permanent solution.
what should I do, i cleaned the dust in my pc 1week ago, maybe i need to apply new thermal paste?

That's always an option, but with gpus there's other considerations. They use thermal pads on the vram and VRM's to connect them physically to the heatsink. Most times they are ok when seperated, but sometimes (or if they are old and brittle or just plain stuck) they get damaged, especially in older gpus like the 960 that's seen several good years of usage. So just pulling the top to reapply paste can get you stuck if they are bad, or cost extra if you get new in advance (recommended) and replace them too.

Cleaning is good, periodically. Very healthy for temps. But most ppl will give the gpu a 'quicky' clean, maybe just hit the fan. They don't think about all the dust and dirt and debris shoved down the vanes on the heatsink that will end up blocking airflow. So think back to your clean and remember how much attention the gpu got, did the whole heatsink get a good cleaning, or was it just the fan area. Not to say you did a bad job, but maybe just an incomplete job. You'd be surprised at the amount of dust that those tiny fans will shove under the shroud, especially a gpu that's several years old. And it's usually packed in so tight that a spray can of air does absolutely nothing to dislodge it.

Once a year, I pull the shroud off the gpu and hit it with a ½" artist's soft bristle paint brush. That gets me down deep into the heatsink to dislodge all the dust that moisture in the air has turned to almost mud.
