Every time I close minecraft I cant open the launcher again.

I can run minecraft once when I start my computer or do a fresh install of minecraft but once I close it and try open it again I get the following error: The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application. I have also linked a picture here > https://4stor.com/hnxJ3

Please help me, its making me not want to bother playing minecraft anymore 🙁

Try to update java, that should be the first step.

Okay, next step is to see if you downloaded the right version. Check it in you "configuration screen" (might not be translated right ) Java lets you download the 32 bit one if you do not watch out 😉. You can download the 64 bit one manually in the "Offline" section on the Java site. Can't give a link unfortunately, the site does weird stuff on mobile devices.

is the program hanging? open the task manager and see if java.exe is in the list. end process and try the game again
try running the app as administrator.

The Client or java isnt hanging. I have downloaded the 64bit offline java thing already. This one is really stumping me.

And, are you sure you uninstalled the previous version of Java? When did this start to happen?

It's time to think really hard: Are you sure you didn't install/untinstall or even update anything yesterday? Maybe a 1 day PC turn back is the way to go.

I have system restored it to the 11/02/16 and removed minecraft comepletely and did a fresh install and all is good again. I still have no idea how it happend in the first place. Thank you for the help

Never mind after restarting my computer its doing it again.

Minecraft won't even open at all now, I'm tearing my hair right now. I might aswell just forget this stupid game.

Found a solution. If I launch from the java file for the launcher it launchs and works comepletely fine.
