[SOLVED] Everytime I turn up volume my fps drop to 0 in game

I jst built my first pc around August an i had everything running smooth but out of nowhere just last week this weird problem showed up where every time im turn up or down my volume in game my fps drop from 120 fps to 0. My gpu and cpu temp stay between 50c and the usage on both is around 80.

Specs:
i5 8600k
Asrock killer z370
Rtx 2080
32g of DDR4

this used to happen to me when i would push to talk in steam. the game would legit freeze for a little bit depending on how much i had to say....i believe it had something to do with how my USB options were configured on my motherboard (also an ASRock, but b350m chipset) because when i avoided that cluster of USB plugs and used the ones on my optical drive instead, it didnt happen anymore. could try moving your USB options around on your motherboard
