Just got a 3070 From Evga. As Soon as I did Firmware Update for Precision X1 My gpu load went to 100% and Fans are louder than it's supposed to be. I abruptly turned off my psu. Everytime I boot up my pc my Gpu is 100% Load and I can't do anything. My guess is the Evga Precision x1 Firmware update file is corrupted or Oudated because it was a old one.

My specs :
Asrock Z490 Itx/Ac
I5 10600k
Evga 3070 Xc3
2x16gb DDR4 3200Mhz
850w Coolermaster sfx

If anyone can assist me in this Please help. I already had this problem last month, I went through Rma process which was a pain and got a new one and the same problem persists. I've looked up multiple threads but they aren't the same model nor the same issue, And Yes I've contacted Evga Multiple times and they keep saying to send it to them for a replacement but what's the point if I keep having the same issue and I can't even boot into windows.

Solution
how long did you let it run?
sometimes it can take a couple minutes, sometimes 10+ to complete.
there is no problem with your fans or the usage hitting 100% as long as temperatures are still staying in the safe zone.

if you powered down in the middle of flashing then the GPU can be permanently damaged.
exactly why there is usually messages stating to not turn off your system while the update is loading.

it's possible they would replace it again, but it seems more like user error from what you've stated.

why exactly are you trying to flash the card?
is there some specific fix or performance increase the release notes are mentioning that you want to implement?

Gpu is making loud fan sounds as soon as I do the firmware update and it was a old firmware version is my guess because it's from a month ago. So now when I boot up my computer it's stuck at 100% load.

reason why I concluded it was the firmware update is because the 3 red lights of my gpu instantly turned on and my gpu became really loud.

usually firmware is only updated periodically through the early life of a card. not very often at all.
firmware is not the same as drivers, which will be updated regularly throughout the life of the card.

the fact that the fans and usage go up to 100% while updating is not a sign of anything harmful.
unless the temperature starts climbing to dangerous levels there is no risk of damage, unless you interrupt the update.

and again..,
