I believe I have the latest drivers for this EVGA 7900 GT Superclocked. And in possibly every game that requires 3D the game hangs and is somehow revived with ESC or CTRL-ALT-DELETE. This does however,
eat up a half a minute. In which case I could have already been in the game dying a few times or whatever. Noticed these problems in Unreal 2004 and Battlefield 2, possibly others. Graphics are amazing, this problem however sucks!

I do have a couple of problems with my system which are not related to this problem.

System has been hard hanging maybe because of overclock/voltage settings. I haven't overclocked the system yet.

Monitor was having issues choosing the right source. I got a new monitor now and it works.

Bought a DOA Biostar SLI mobo. Couldn't get anything out of it.

A couple of other things.

I may have solved all my issues except for this one. And I don't know if it's because it is a brand new card, or what. OR if it is the video card. There has been no problems with Windows XP locking up like this.

That's one confusing post you got there buddy...

"System has been hard hanging maybe because of overclock/voltage settings. I haven't overclocked the system yet."

Now that doesn't make any sense. All I can sugguest is the normal things... update your video drivers, make sure your motherboard BIOS is current and make sure your games are patched with the most current patches.

Yea it is odd. Well, I did install everything off the bios cd. I didn't play with the Ai overclocker/nos program that ASUS bundled. I left the pc running two nights ago downloading and it hung. And kept hanging. Checking out the bios I found that the cpu voltage and things I'm not even to sure what were changed by either this program or something else. I reset to defaults, rebooted, removed the program, rebooted, defaults to bios, rebooted, took out the battery. Things like that and it finally stopped hanging.

Oh, the video drivers should be updated to current. As for the bios it said in the manual theres absolutely no reason to update it. Maybe in this case there is.
