EVGA DG-87 question

I just bought a new case, the dg87 and im wondering if i need a fan hub if i plan on filling up all of the fan spaces or if the fan controller could support that many fans.

1. what motherboard are you using ?
2. how many fan headers does it have on it aside the CPU one ?
3. if the number of fans in case is greater than number of headers on board by a 2/1 ratio then a fan hub is a solution

1. its an ASUS z170-e
2. It has 2 case fan headers but im currently using 2 fan splitters for the extra fans.
Also im wondering with the fan controller that comes with the case, whether i can plug the fans into there or not
