EVGA FTW 1070 Does it have problems? (Overheating) Thermal Pads Problem

I just ordered a 1070 FTW edition and right afterwards i heared it has overheating problems with the thermal Pads, do they still have this problem if so i would want a refund.

they got onto it right away

and dont think it was every card model

but obviously cards you buy now were probably made before they fixed it as would guess it takes a couple of months maybe from a card being made to getting in the hands of the buyer

but think they offered a bios update--ie more fan noise--thermal pads--ie you have to put them on yourself--or a refund

yes i just read from their website that cards from 11/1/16 would be fixed and resolved so obviously im good
