Evga g2 550w any good?

My main concern is that will this ever go bad and take out my other parts. I remember Blackbird recommending this to me as the best 550w on the market but Im not sure if it takes out other parts.

there is no guarentee that a failing psu won't take out other parts. however, a high quality psu like the g2 lowers the possibility by a very large amount. it is very unlikely to take other parts with it if it fails.
