EVGA GeForce 460 GTX, what temp is safe?

my Geforce 460 GTX is at around 50-55 C when idle, and surprisingly it only goes up by 10 when i play a game (around 55-67 C). So is 67 C a normal temperature when playing? Or is it too much? How can i lower the temp?

That's perfectly fine. The highest temp you want is about 90c (but that's quite hot for a GTX460), and normal temps are around 65-75c. Yours is just fine.

whew! i that's one problem down! Thank you.

Now all i have to do is fix my cpu temp. It goes up to 99 C when i play a game! It's an intel i7 870. Gotta get me a better heat sink fan.

I had the same problem with mines, it went from 35-40 idle and 50-60 load to 50-55 idle and 70 something on load, I hate that it went up but then again at least its not in danger.
