EVGA Geforce 6800GS question

I am planning to get a EVGA Geforce 6800GS graphics card. I have noticed that the EVGA cards comes with a separate 6 pin power splitter. After i plug in the 6 pin power splitter to the graphics card, i would have to connect a 4 pin cable from the PSU?

all i did was plug a molex from the power supply into the card, done.
