EVGA GTX 1060 SC not being detected

Hi, I have a ASUS ROG G20AJ Specs are:
i7 4790k @3.6GHz
8GB RAM

My 1060 Isnt being detected by my computer when I try HDMI or DVI it just says no signal, when i try to install NVIDIA drivers it says "the graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware". Also, my card does not show up in the Device Manager... The reason I was upgrading from my old GTX 760 was because all of a sudden when i turned on my PC my monitor said no signal as well. The card shows no sign of even powering on (although i'm not sure it would), no fans spinning or noise etc... Any help would be much appreciated

Could your power supply be bad and not supplying the supplemental power ?

That is a possibility, I'm gonna buy a new one and test. Thank you for your reply!

Turns out my motherboard was the problem, replaced it and all is working fine now!
