Hi, so I've been having this issue where my PC would hard crash every time I ran a game on Origin.
This basically started last year, but hasn't become a main issue till now.
I've tried pretty much every trick in the book that both EA and EVGA have offered. Which were usually just generic google tips.
I even did a full clean install of Windows and the issue still persisted, but this time no more hard crashing.
I was able to see LiveKernalEvent 141 and 117.
I then decided to try and use a buddy's 1060 to test. A Zotac 1060 Amp Extreme. I used DDU, installed the card and did the whole setup.
Boom, games all working just fine. No crashing and no issues.
Repeated the step and installed the 1080ti again, and back to crashing.
EVGA suggested it could be my PSU, but not sure how to test that.
My buddy's rig is limited at a 500w PSU.
Any advice or guidance is appreciated.
Don't know if it's a PSU or GPU error. I'm leaning towards a GPU issue.
