I'm going to buy a prebuilt pc and it has an Evga gtx 1660ti and seeing benchmarks for it online it's pretty much the weakest gtx 1660ti the compared to asus strix model the difference is like 3-4fps at about 70-90fps but at 100+fps the difference is 5-9fps and compared to the gigabyte model it's only 1fps the question is do I buy it?
P.s that's the only model they have.

All those numbers are based on stock settings. Install msi afterburner and you can mildy overclock it and have the same if not better numbers than the top card at stock settings.

1-But doesn't overclocking damage the gpu and make it live shorter
2 - Does it have a good thermal performance (evga gtx 1660ti xc gaming (one fan))
Thanks in advance

Overclocking your gpu will not hurt it. The cards have safety parameters built in so you can't take it too far. If they detect too much heat then the card simply throttles back until a certain temperature is achieved. One fan is fine for that card. At 135 watts power draw it is easily cooled.
