I recently bought a EVGA GTX GeForce SC and for the past week when I run any Steam or Origin game I get what sounds like a bee buzzing from the card. I can't tell if the fans are hitting something or what, but when under minimal use like web browsing, I still hear the buzz, however not as loud. I can pick up the buzzing sound in my front panel audio jack as well.

I thought maybe the card needed warming up by playing for over an hour, but the buzz doesn't fully go away. I have not overclocked it or modified it.

I bought the card from Newegg, but I'm not sure if I should contact EVGA or just RMA the card. I don't want to be without a graphics card for weeks.

Looking for suggestions on what to do next...

Probably coil whine, the evga SC and SSC have had coil whine issues going back many years. Turn off vsync and run a game where you will get very high framerates, if the buzzing gets louder its most likely coil whine. It does not mean anything is necessarily wrong with the card, but it can be annoying if its bad enough. If they will even let you RMA the card for coil whine there is no guarantee your replacement card wont do the same thing. My msi gtx 1060 has some coil whine but only at extremely high framrates. Also sometimes poor quality power supplys can cause coil whine in gpu's.

So I just looked up videos of coil whine and it doesn't sound like a screech or wail, it's just a buzz. Maybe it's one in the same?
