Maybe a noob question (please don't judge me) but does it really matter what type of psu as long as it has enough watts?

Intel has made these new CPUs so efficient at idle they can actually drop below the minimum power level needed for some power supplies to function within spec.

As the user above points out, You can just disable these new power saving states and use your current power supply if needed.

This isn't totally true: I just received (Sept 2013) an NEX650G, and I cannot boot up my new build because it is not Hazwell-Compatible. EVGA explained to me that only the serial numbers AFTER SN°1303-160650-802827 are compatible. So I'm stuck without a computer until EVGA sends me the newer version.
