[SOLVED] Evga rtx 2060 ko ultra vs Nvidia rtx 2060

My cpu is fx 6300 and Mobo is msi sli krait edition, my current gpu is gtx 960 what should I get the Evga rtx 2060 ko ultra or Nvidia rtx 2060. People and certain websites say the ultra ko is better but I'm still not Shure

Neither. Both cards have been surpassed by the 2060 Super, so unless you are getting a good deal on them used skip them. But between them get the EVGA.

As far as powersupply a a decent 550 watt would be more then enough.

You are going to have a bottleneck with your CPU though. And even if you went up to a FX8350 you will still be bottlenecked due to the shortfalls of teh FX series of CPUs. You will probably want to upgrade to a modern Intel or AMD platform eventually.

The ko varient is 279$, while the super is 399$.

remember that the normal 2060 is 300$, while the ko is below msrp as its the most basic non binned version.

I would recommend the ko ONLY if it costs less than the other one.
As that one would probably be better binned.

The usb c thing is nvidia only
and under 400$ dollars nvidia only has the 2060 super, 2060, 2060 ko
and 1660 super (ti and normal are garbage)
1650 super and 1650.

The usb-c is also not necesarry for vr. you dont HAVE to use it.

So does the Nvidia 2060 have one and what MHz is it

I went on nvidias site and compared the cards the best seem to be the rtx 2060 ko ultra and the founders edition

The cheaper one.
they will perform the same due to gpu boost 3.0.
or if you like the usb c, the one that has it/

if your only gaming then the 2060 and 2060 KO will be the same.

If your doing more then gaming then the KO Ultra will give you a boost in performance over the 2060

So it's garenteed a 2080 die so it's got more performance but worse cooling and no usb-c so what do you think

Ok according to the reviews it's the best gpu under 350 so I'll get it

The ko is the same performance as a 1070. Ti and same pcb setup as 2080 but 1600 cooling
