Evidence chests

Where would be the closest evidence chest to Maar Gan?
I got pinched there and funny thing, I didnt think I had THAT much stolen
stuff...lol
Problem is I lost a few things I needfor quests. Any help would
be....umm...well, helpful..

Try casting a divine intervention spell in maar gan and see where it
takes you. I think the chest could be in the fort you are taken to.

Good idea though there are more Imperial Shrines than Evidence Chests.
If I remember correctly, the chest for Maar Gan is located in Buckmoth
Legion Fort near Ald'Ruhn. You'll find it in the Prison.

There are more alters, but I'm not sure there are more places you
Intervention to. Intervention takes you to forts at Gnisis, Ahldrun,
Balmora, Pelagiad, Ebonhart and Sadrith Mora. I think that is where
the chests are. However, I almost never steal or play thieves. Last
game, I did get arrested,though. For picking flowers in Mournhold.
It was embarrassing.
