Evil Within display problems beyond 1440p

Recently got a 4k monitor. Running it off a HDMI for the time being till I get a DisplayPort cable so I'm stuck with 30 Hz for now.

Was testing out a few games and found that Evil Within when set to resolutions beyond 1440p the display area went out of the screen as shown in the picture.

Running it off of 2 HD 7970s
My drivers are up to date (14.9)

Bethesda has admitted recently they need to patch the PC version for optimization and AR and FPS options. You may want to wait and see if it has 4k optimizations as well.
