Ex-student Jared Cano held for Tampa 'school bomb plot'

A "potentially catastrophic" bomb plot hatched by an expelled high school student has been foiled by police in the US city of Tampa, Florida. Police said Jared Cano, 17, planned to lay a device at Freedom High School in north Tampa and detonate it as students began the new school year.

I have stopped getting shocked at the stupidity of things which some from this generation resort to, any time they feel threatened in someway. Anyway, luckily he got caught and no innocent person was hurt.

This was indeed a disaster headed off and a stroke of good luck.

Unfortunately, this young man will be a burden on society for the rest of his (long) life with virtually no hope of any meaningful rehabilitation.
