So in just the last few months my internet usage has skyrocketted per Comcast. In checking this my wifi is at 44 BILLION sent bytes in 2 days and 2 billion recieved. Ethernet is 200 Million sent to 2 Billion received. Yes I have two active connections on this pc. If I disconnect the wifi, the ethernet shoots up.
What kind of software will find such a culprit?
AVG Ultimate finds nothing. Malwarebytes keeps finding 29 'files/folders/registry keys' in Chrome it wants to quarentine. Doing so immediately kills Chrome. Chrome finds no bad programs running but there are at least 18 instances of Chrome always running and 8 more if my calendar is open.
