Thomas Edison patented the lightbulb and is universally recognised as it's inventor - but he didn't - Frederick de Moleyns patented it first 38 years earlier, 6 years before Edison was even born

So who invented the search engine? It doesn't matter, it only matters who patents it and all the Google fans need to get off their high horse as well because it certainly wasn't them either
