Hi,
I have ASUS PRIME B450M-A motherboard: https://www.asus.com/rs/Motherboards/PRIME-B450M-A/specifications/
The specifications state that this motherboard has 1 x PCIe 3.0 but I'm not sure if I understood well this part:
1. Question: Does this mean if you have 2nd or 1st gen Ryzen Processor with integrated Vega graphics, then if you want to add a new graphics card that is PCIe 3.0 x16 (e.g. RX 570) - it will only work in x8 mode?
But, if you have 2nd or 1st without Vega, then the same graphics card will be able to work in x16 mode?
Did I understand correctly?
2. Question: I have this motherboard with Ryzen 5 3400G with integrated Vega 11 graphics. I'm not sure if it's really 3rd or 2nd generation (for example, here it's stated that it's more like an updated version of the second-generation).
Will a graphics card that is PCIe 3.0 x16 (e.g. RX 570) only work in x8 mode or it will be able to work in x16 mode?
