Every time I click on something an error message
appears "Explorere has caused an error in 8272807082 TMP
Explorer will now close". Explorer does not close but if I
close this message, I just get a blue screen with no
shortcuts and no toolbar. If I restart the computer the
same message reappears. If I do not close the message I
can carry on working. What should I do?

I'd first try deleting the contents of the temporary internet files
folder(s).
Normally you would use IE to do this via Tools Internet options Delete
cookies and Delete files boxes.
8272807082 TMP may represent a file name. If so, it might be possible to
search for it and then delete it only.

Having similarly experienced the same issue on a friends machine,
simply running MSCONFIG (start->run->msconfig) and unselecting the
startup group fixed this. Didn't have time to find out which startup
item was causing it though. Going through the startup tab and
reselecting individual items after restarting your computer should
allow you to pinpoint which item is causing the problem. Good Luck.
