Hi,
I'm building a simple NAS/Media_Center (Pi 4 + cheap 3.5" USB 3 case from AliExpress + 3TB WD Red). Pi4 will run Raspbian or OMV or LibreElec (not decided yet).
I am planning to have it always ON.
Let's assume nobody is going to kick the HDD case.
Is it safe to leave it always ON?
Can disks go to sleep in an external HDD case if not accessed by a PC (Pi 4 in my case)?
