Extend C: Drive

I have partitioned a 256 gb ssd into to separate drives, C and D. Now I have shrunk the D drive by 50 gb, but when I want to extend the C drive using the unallocated space from the D drive, the extend option is grayed out.

I have checked other similar question posted on this forum. However, nothing seems to be working.

I also tried a software called EaseUS that did not work either..

Solution

Because of that little partition between the C partition and the 118GB unallocated space.
You need to use a 3rd party tool to fix this.
Minitool Partition Wizard, maybe.

Sorry, I missed your link.
You can't extend the C directly into that 48.83GB unused space, because they're not right next to each other.

EaseUS won't do it?

What would *I* do?
Move all data from the D partition, and make that whole 256GB SSD a single partition space for the OS (minus, of course, the system partitions)
