hi, i have an r9 270x and it requires a dual 6 pin power connector (my psu is zalman 600 HP the guy i bought it to didnt include the 8 to 6+2 modular cable). i have only 1, 6 pin so i used molex to 6 pin for the other. i have a full windowed case and molex to 6 pin looks awful. i really cant find a 6pin female to 6 pin female in my country. so if i may ask is it safe to extend molex to 6pin using a 6 pin extension cable

Solution
So you want to connect 2 molexes into an adapter, make it into a 6-pin pci-e connector, and then extend it with what you just linked? Yes that should be totally okay, but why do you need such a long cable?
Molex to 6-pin is perfectly fine, just make sure that when you connect the molex sides of it, you don't bend the connectors, and use 2 molexes for a single 6-pin for the power requirement.

yep!, so this is my only option for my computer to look decent.

i have mid tower case. the molex to 6 pin cables are too short and it looks awful on my full windowed case. so i want to extend so that i can hide it inside the PSU shroud

No, this is inaccurate. Modular PSU cables are absolutely not universal, even among the same brand. Only the ends that connect to the computer components are standardized, the pinouts on the power supply end are very, very different, and someone assuming that modular cables are standardized can very easily destroy their equipment.

The conversion from molex to 6 pin will work, simply because the conversion works as it's connected to the standardized end. But DO NOT purchase a new modular PSU cable unless you can verify the pinouts.
