I was wondering can i alraedy have an external gpu on my laptop, ive heard that some of the top brands products are coming up soon like razer core. But until that, can i get an external enclosure or some sort of port where i could plug in a better gpu.

My laptop is MSI gp60 leopard
Specs:
Intel core I7-4720HQ
8gb ram
Nvidia 940m

The reason for that is that mine gpu doesnt fulfill my requirements for games, which is not to play on medium specs.

Thx:)

Mdp is not the same at tb even if they share the same connector and doesn't support egpus. If you can get to your mpcie (wireless card usually uses it) then it's a rather cheap adapter for an egpu.
You don't have a MiniDisplay/Thunderbolt port on that chassis from what I can find online, so I would have to inform you that you won't be able to use a product like the Razer Core.

Thunderbolt also uses USB type C, so maybe it is a possibility

Razor offer only pci slot. This mean you will have to pay 500$ for slot only and gpu you have to buy on your own. Not worth it if you ask me. Get new pc rig will be better. laptops cpu are not made for heavy duty they will overheat and they become useless.
