It depends on the ports that the GPU comes with. If it can be connected using all of the ports that come with the GPU, then yes. Although, until 20 seconds ago, I have not heard what a GPU is, but I still think that if you want to do gaming, get a tower. Towers are more customizable, usually faster, and there is more support on TomsHardWare for them. My specs are listed on the side, and it's a cheap but really good build (Medium-High end) and you can play games like Rust, DayZ, GTA V, etc on high settings.

There are only a couple of laptops that have viable external gpu solutions for gaming and yours isn't one of them. Wile it maybe possible its wont be worth the time and money in the end to the the bottleneck you get from the interface(mini pci-e runs at 1x).

You do have access to your mpcie by taking off the bottom cover. But with such a new laptop, you can just sell it and get a new laptop with a gpu. As mentioned the mpcie will be a bottleneck so you'd get better performance for the same price as just selling it and getting a new laptop vs spending the money on adapter+gpu+psu.
