[SOLVED] External hard drive enclosure cable

I have a new external hard drive enclosure which I purchased for a 3.5" drive I will use for a backup. The USB 3.0 cable included is poor quality and I would like to replace it. The output end is square like the output end of a printer/scanner cable. Is it the same type of cable, or is it possible it's proprietary?

I prefer those cables/connectors. They are much more robust.

I suspect that the enclosure is configured with a 4KB sector size. That would be consistent with 16TB max capacity (4096 bytes x 2^32) and compatibility with Win XP (MBR partition, 32-bit max LBA).
