I have bought a WD Elements 1TB external hard drive from Tesco yesterday, and I have formatted the drive with windows 10 default format tool, but I didn’t check the storage amount on the drive as I thought it would be 1TB by default. But then I cloned my other external 500GB drive to this 1TB drive as I wanted to back-up all of my photos etc which is over 300GB of storage it takes.
So, I should be left with around 650GB of storage but in this case, I am left with 105GB please see image down below in link.

Image of the hard drive properties saying the capacity is 465GB (which adds up to 500GB in total of storage) which is wrong as I bought a 1TB.

But if I go into the disk management tool and look for the same drive it shows that its 1TB in there. But some reason in the properties which I shown on the link above which is showing that the drive is only 500 GB only for some reason.

Link to the disk management storage: http://prntscr.com/mjflr1

It also says that its 500GB in CMD as well for some reason.

So, what should I do, send it back for a refund/exchange or is there a way to fix this issue?

Do I change the partition size to 1000GB? As when I open the program software it is the default size shown in the screen shot down below.
