External hard drive problem?

I recently plugged my WD elements into my tv and it worked fine. Now when I plug it back into my computer it does not reconize it. When I go into disk management it shows it there but without a volume # or letter. Disk management will not let me assign a letter to it. When I highlight it, the only option is help.

the drive still works when connected to the tv?
i'm guessing that the tv changed the filesystem on your drive to one that windows doesn't recognize

Yes. Still works on the TV. In disk manager it's there but under the volume heading its blank. No letter, and won't let me assign one. I ran wd data lifeguard diagnostics and still nothing. It passes all the tests.
