I'm buying a portable 1TB external hard drive for my brother for Christmas. I've narrowed it down to Western Digital My Passport

and Seagate Expansion

Any insight into which is better, the pros and cons to each, known problems for either? I can get them for the same price.

UPDATE: Oh, or a Samsung D3 Station 2TB? I know it has a Seagate inside and it's a bit different since it's a desktop external hard drive, but I can get it for $75, so only an extra $10 for one more TB. However, if it's not as good as the other two, quality-wise, I would like to know.
