Hello,
It fell off my tower onto the ground, about 2 feet. I picked it up and immediately checked it and it worked fine. I left it running and left the house, and when I came home 9 hours later it was making a clicking sound. So I turned it off and now it won't turn back on again.
Can't recall what kind of harddrive it is. It's a black 1TB LACIE external. Might be this one:

It has pretty much all my stuff on it. I was planning on getting a second one and building in some redundancy but hadn't gotten around to it yet. And it's encrypted, so taking it to a computer store that will probably end up formatting it is a last resort.
Is there anything I can do?
