Hello, I'm trying to help my girlfriends sister out in her laptop, basically she needs to use a recovery disc to fix her laptop but it said that the hard drive would be wiped clean,so asked if I could take her files off uni etc!! So I got out my Ian thingy that reads the drive as a external and plug it all in and the drive spins up and majesty the windows pop pop when I connect it but can't find it on ny computer!! Also my pc is running really slow!! I'm using xp pro BTW if that helps. Cheers any help would be great!
