Hello guys!
I have a WD external HDD, the 1rst 2T my book...it has 2 HDD inside (1 terra each)...

Suddently it stopped working...couldnt even start..i have files that i need from work. i used other cables and other computers to see if thats the problem..it didnt work..so i openned it up.. and took the two HDD..i bought an adapter that can read HDD via usb...

My PC does the classic sound when connect it via usb

i cant see my HDD on "my computer"

so i went to disk manager... i can see it there.."Unallocated"

Ive tried uninstalling usb drivers...connect it and let windows download them again..nothing..i tried disabling - enabling...nothing..

i dont want to lose my data...can you give me a piece of advice pls!?

i dont know if , because it was 2T of 1T HDD each they have to be somehow connected to work...if there is a cable that connects the two HDD...

ty guys! help me if you can! (Im so sorry about my english 😛 )

Solution
Have you tried contacting WD Support?

Since the drive are in a RAID configuration, it is unlikely you will be able to take out the drive and read it as a single drive.
Hey thank you for your reply! i havent tried to contact WD...but that (Since the drive are in a RAID configuration, it is unlikely you will be able to take out the drive and read it as a single drive.) was what i wanted to confirm! ty so much!
