Question External power button assistance

Hello,

I am looking at wiring a external power button to an arcade computer.

Normally it would be rather easy and just buy one with the designated wiring that you can find online.

However, I was really hoping to use an oversized button like: https://a.co/d/gcznEzT
In conjunction with:
Wiring
By cutting off the button ends of the second link and replacing them with spade connectors for the arcade button.

Would this work? I‘m not sure on how the wiring would exactly have to be.

Any suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated!

Huh, I guess it really will be that easy.

I thought with the button being led (the one in the video isn’t) that I had to do something fancy with the wiring of the button and led cords. But looking closer at the arcade button linked, there are only the three standard prongs, one which remains open.

I suppose the button would light up by itself with just the positive and negative terminals connected?
