External SSD Raid 0 for video editing (via usb 3.1 gen2)

Since usb 3.1 gen2 can offer speeds up to 10 Gb/s, I was wondering if having two ssd's in raid 0 is worth it for video editing

I use premiere pro and after effects for 4k (up to 60 fps) video editing with moderate color grading, effects, and title animations. I probably edit 1-4 hours a day, 5-7 times a week.

I'd say a good internal NVMe drive would be better, and less fail prone.
