I have a work computer. Typical corporate image, Windows 7 Enterprise, network login. If I physically remove the hard drive and hook it up to my personal PC via USB enclosure, power it up, navigate through the directories and copy some process documents (which I authored), will this leave any kind of fingerprint or trail on the source HDD?

I'm guessing there will be a step in between powering it up and copying the files where I either need to "take ownership" or enter my credentials to access the local directory though.
