external wifi receiver

Hi,
I want to be able to use my wifi in my shed at the bottom of the garden. 25meters.
I can pick it up from my house on my laptop and it does work. However, the signal is low. I've placed the router in the house near the window, but is there a good EXTERNAL (as in waterproof) WiFi receiver that I can place on the outside of the shed?

Sure. Engenius -- https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833168115. You can do it either way. Put the Engenius on the house to broadcast to the shed or put it on the outside of the shed to better receive from the house. You will have to have AC power for the Engenius. If you don't have AC power in the shed, then mounting it on the outside of the house pointed at the shed would work.

There are other manufacturers, Ubiquiti is another choice. TPLink -- http://www.tp-link.com/us/products/details/cat-37_CPE210.html may be more affordable but, I have no experience.

Search for "outdoor access point" and see what is more affordable.
