Extracting Product Key

I have only the Microsoft Office Word 2007 CD for Windows XP - I NO LONGER HAVE THE PACKAGING OR RECEIPT AND THERE IS NO STICKER. It's installed and working on my PC but with limited uses without entering the Product Key #. There must be a way to get the Product Key # from my computer or the CD. How do I do this? I DO NOT WANT TO BUY A NEW PRODUCT KEY # FROM MICROSOFT!

The key is not located on the CD/DVD. If loaded on your PC properly, you wouldn't need to enter it. There are a couple of products that can be used to retrieve your product keys, if they are installed to your PC.

Until you enter the key it doesn't exist anywhere on your computer. It's also not on the CD. Without the original packaging you will have to purchase a license key. However, Microsoft no longer sells Office 2007 so you'll have to upgrade to at least Office 2013.
