Extreme WiFi prolem

I am running Windows 8.1 the problem i that i am connected to my wifi and it says i have internet access but i do not i have done everything from wiping my HDD to buyin a new wireless card any help?

Have you tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling? Usually this is a common fix but it may be something else.
Try this and let us know.

Try resetting your TCP/IP.

Press Windows +X.
Click Command prompt (Admin mode)
Type ‘netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt’
Press Enter.
Reboot the computer.

One line of attack is to address the router. You can start by turning off encryption, setting it to a fixed channel and changing the SSID. If that doesn't work do a full factory reset and go from there. If you get internet access, then reconfigure your encryption and other settings, testing at each change to make sure you still have access.

But before you get deep into that, run the command

cmd /k ipconfig /all

and post the results here.

Have you tried connecting to the router with an Ethernet cable?
