I'm not sure what I've done wrong but the AIO coolers fans are extremely loud - is this normal?? I'm not sure if it's all the fans in the PC or just the AIO fans, though does sound like only the AIO fans

Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

What sort of temps do you see in BIOS? You might want to also post images of how you've tethered the fans to your system.

I can't help but wonder if your VRM was comprised, after reading this;

Yeah, that motherboard failed to even turn on. I bought a new one, so nothing wrong with this one.

Temps seem normal:

PSU is brand new.

Check this detail. Go into BIOS Setup. I assume the cable from the PUMP unit to your mobo is plugged into the CPU_FAN header. Of not, it should be. Go to the configuration screen for that header. In the choice of MODE setting, set it to PWM Mode - NOT DC Mode or Auto Mode. This will ensure the pump gets the proper power supply and the rad fans' speeds are under control.

Life saver! it's reduced it significantly! not sure how accurate the decibel meter on my phone is, but it's now averaging at 55 dB, which I think seems about right compared to RobeyTech's review (at 15:28).
